In terms of food , I can only rate the pan con tomate and albondigas The waitress with red hair wasn't interested in any pleasantries; first question/interaction was ‘do you want some water? ‘ I realised that I could be mistaken for a horse so I said yes. disappointed there is no other wine measure but 175ml or a bottle.

Walked in last minute on a busy evening (visited 29 August 2025) with no booking and was sat straight away - unbelievably accommodating. We were upstairs and the two ladies running the floor were fabulous: calm, supportive, great with guests and never overbearing. Our server was wonderful too—friendly, efficient and genuinely warm. We ordered a spread: bread, cod croquettes, chicken skewers, chorizo, patatas bravas, salad and meatballs. Honestly, some of the best food I’ve had in a long time. The meatballs were sensational and the croquettes were spot on - crisp outside, silky inside. Even the chicken skewers - my personal least favourite of the night - were still lovely. Everything was well-seasoned, served hot, and perfectly paced. I work in hospitality, so I notice the little things: smooth teamwork, thoughtful check-backs, water topped up without fuss, and a relaxed atmosphere despite the bustle. I’ve rarely felt this relaxed at a meal, everything was just… perfect. Can’t wait to come back, and I’ve already told everyone to make sure they go!
