We travelled from Edinburgh to Liverpool last week and brought in by friends to this restaurant. Taste of home is what I would comment! There is nothing of East/ South East Asian style in Edinburgh that’s as nice as Cooking Papa. I had pad Thai which was simple but lovely- a good mix of different flavours and I love the bits and bobs being served aside on the plate. My little one aged 5 really enjoyed the Hong Kong style French toast. There are lots of other items that I want to try, unfortunately we don’t live in Liverpool! A must-visit- again place on my list.
