When I say this Chippy was a joy to go into! I had just been swimming with my mums and we decided to pop in! To start off with, food was genuinely 10/10, no word of a lie top 5 fish and chips I’ve ever had, I don’t know what they put in that salt and pepper mix but defo try it. What really made it special tho was the service, everyone was so lovely but mostly the main dude at the counter, who was laughing and joking with everyone that came in, doing everything he could to make our experience as good as possible, treating us like familiar locals. People like that I find really leave a lasting impact, and made me happy to living in the north! Ps was also a bargain Great scran and great service, I will be returning

I travelled all the way from Nottingham just so I could try their salt and pepper chips. And I'll do it again to try the rest of the menu. Nice folks serving, decent price and the chips excellent 👍
