Dont know about parking, always go by train. So much to see, never get tired of coming to this historic area. Plenty to do indoors if weather turns wet. Lots of food vendors for all tastes. Museum of Liverpool is excellent with great views from upper panoramic windows. Mersey ferries river cruise is fun. Get your photo taken alongside the Beatles statue, usualy has a street artist next to it singing the Beatles classics. Sadly the brilliant Maritime museum is shut till 2028 I believe.

The promenade has such great energy! Beautiful view of museums, buildings and the Mersey. Lots of shops and eateries - both sit down and food trucks. The number of locks along the water was also impressive. A great place to visit and stroll when in Liverpool. We parked across from the Beatles Story museum and then walked along the water to the Mersey ferry terminal (and back). Highly recommend.
