Went to Monsantos Open Air for a paid concert and it was a really disappointing experience. It started with the security staff being incredibly arrogant, telling us we shouldn’t be allowed in because we weren’t following a dress code, which was never mentioned in the ticket. We were dressed like everyone else, so it made no sense. Once inside, you can’t pay for drinks with card or cash. You’re forced to top up through a QR code system, which is already inconvenient, and mine didn’t even work. Had to speak to another rude staff member to get it fixed. Tried asking again about the dress code confusion and was met with the unhelpful answer “well, you’re here, aren’t you?” and a shrug. Apparently no one working there knows anything about the supposed rules they’re enforcing. The drinks were overpriced, the staff were rude, and the whole experience felt chaotic and unwelcoming. Definitely not coming back.
