Cura exceeded our expectations in every way. The ambiance was relaxed and elegant, with friendly and warm service that set the tone for a memorable meal. Each dish was a masterclass in balance and presentation, with every element working in harmony to create a truly refined dining experience. The attention to detail was palpable in every bite. Given its Michelin star, we weren't surprised by the quality, but what did impress was how it rivaled some two-starred establishments we've visited. A highlight was the head chef, Rodolfo Lavrador, taking the time to greet us at our table, adding a personal touch that elevated the experience. A standout restaurant that we highly recommend.

A highly refined menu expertly prepared. Flavor and presentation were infinitely close to perfection. The iberico pork, in particular, was the best iberico pork I had ever had. Service was first class, and atmosphere was luxurious yet relaxed. The local wine pairing was superb, and gave us a taste of what Portuguese wine had to offer. All in all in line with what one expects at a Michelin one star restaurant. If I were to be picky, however, like so many Michelin starred restaurants, the food was a bit too safe. I feel that the Michelin star system discourages creativity, which is a pity for chefs of this caliber.
