A Igreja de Nossa Senhora das Mercês é uma igreja de fachada setecentista que foi construída em 1615. A sua reconstrução, pós-Terramoto, foi efetuada imediatamente. O interior de uma só nave apresenta várias capelas laterais voltadas ao centro, podendo observar-se alguns vestígios da antiga reconstrução seiscentista. Está classificada (bem como o antigo Convento de Nossa Senhora de Jesus a ela agregado e outros edifícios adjacentes) como Imóvel de Interesse Público.
