Was für ein Juwel! Freundliche Begrüßung, aufmerksamer Service und fantastische Küche. Und das alles in einem Ambiente, das seinesgleichen sucht. Eine Mischung aus Wohnzimmer und Galerie. Heimelig, aber nicht verstaubt. Hier wird Kochkunst groß geschrieben ohne dass man ein Wörterbuch braucht. Regionale Speisen und saisonale Angebote auf hohem Niveau. Fein komponiert und angerichtet. Genau die richtige Portion. Und auch wenn man nach zwei Gängen schon satt ist, überwiegt die lukullische Lust auf das Dessert. Großes Kompliment an Küchenchef Hendric Weißwange und sein Team, die für einen reibungslosen Ablauf auch bei vollem Haus sorgen. An Qualität und Genuss kaum zu überbieten. Lobenswert auch die Weinauswahl. Das Schaarschmidts kommt unaufgeregt daher, besticht durch qualitative Beständigkeit und ist auch deshalb seit Jahren immer wieder einen Besuch wert.

(To Google: how to give more than 5 stars??) Great restaurant with authentic regional cuisines and even greater service!! We arrived at 9.30pm on a Friday evening, the staff first told us it had past last order time. But as we left he came out and called us back in, after he asked the kitchen to prepare for one more table. Another staff came rushing out to move her car so that we could park right outside the restaurant. The food and service were reviewed and awarded by Michelin so I will skip. But I want to wholeheartedly thank all the staff at the restaurant who went out of their way to accommodate us for a late awesome dinner! Danke!!
