About

Surprisingly, the restaurant owes its name to bread, specifically to Georgian homemade bread, which is shaped like boats and baked in a Georgian oven.

The menu represents the culinary traditions of all Georgian regions, the recipes are fully authentic, and the ingredients and spices are delivered from Georgia.

It features a wide range of dishes: starting from light appetizers to hearty meals.

However, the selection of drinks is not as extensive, but still, for dinner, you can choose a bottle of wine, but only Saperavi is served by the glass. A seasonal menu will soon be introduced in the restaurant.

Even the interior reflects the traditions and culture of Georgia: wide wooden tables, brick walls, and sheepskin pillows. Special emphasis was placed on zone lighting, which is maintained at an optimal mode throughout the day.

Shoti sets the bar for well crafted Georgian cuisine in Kyiv. Tradition and top-quality Georgian ingredients are the backbone, the food that’s both authentic but also appropriately modernized in some instances. The menu brings heritage and innovation - the traditional eggplant rolls stuffed with walnuts, hand-folded khinkali with pork/veal, lamb or ricotta like cheese made to order, and lamb shank with herbs and wine, and the less typical but perfectly traditional trout with Georgian saffron. The honey cake with candied green walnuts is an excellent way to finish. The wine list is a gem for a curious drinker: qvevri-aged (amphora) amber wines and rare varieties like Krakhuna and Usahelauri. Authenticity here means perfect ingredients, many brought from Georgia even now, excellent execution and deep respect for Georgian food and culture.
