About

The Vridlo geyser spring is a widely recognized symbol of Karlovy Vary. The water temperature here reaches 72°C, and the spring itself is a natural phenomenon, attracting thousands of tourists annually. In a single day of operation, Vridlo processes over 2,000 liters of mineral water, with enough pressure to lift a column of liquid twelve meters high. The spring was discovered in 1650, and communal baths were established at that time. Gradually, the building changed in size and shape until it acquired its present appearance in the 1970s. Besides serving as an independent source, the underground waters of Vridlo are also used for nearby resorts and health centers.
