Kılıç Ali Paşa Hamamı is hands down my favorite hamam in Istanbul. I’ve been there at least seven times by now and make a point of visiting a couple of times during every trip to the city. It’s a truly classy place — elegant without being pretentious, and always a serene experience from start to finish. The hamam is housed in a beautifully restored 16th-century building designed by the legendary architect Sinan, and the ambiance reflects that rich history. The space is breathtaking, with its high dome, soft lighting, and calm atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease. Service is consistently excellent. The staff are attentive, respectful, and thoughtful — everything is done with care and professionalism. Whether it’s your first visit or your tenth, you feel genuinely looked after. I couldn’t recommend it more highly — it’s a timeless Istanbul experience I keep coming back to.

This was my first Hamam experience and one that I will recommend to anybody traveling through Istanbul. Both my husband and I went (at different times for men and women) and we both loved the experience. The staff are so welcoming and give clear guidance for first timers. A luxurious and rejuvenating experience!
