Ehrensvärd-museo on jo melkein 100-vuotias. On ironista, että museostakin voi tulla vanhanaikainen jäänne. Esineet pitäisi päivittää Kansallismuseon valtavista kokoelmista, jotka nyt makaavat varastossa. Kalusteet voisi myös ryhmitellä kiinnostavasti, nyt ne on lähinnä heitelty tyhjiin kohtiin. Ainoa elävä huone on ruokasali, jonne sinnekään ei pääse sisään. Museo kaipaa tarinoita elävästä elämästä.

Very nice and well preserved 18th century house. Well worth the visit. However, it was unfortunate that many of the English translations were short summaries as opposed to the full information given in Finnish and Swedish.

The former home of Soumenlinnas founder replicated with furniture from the time. Very nice and quiet museum! It is included if you book the guided walking tour.
