Tijdens mijn bezoek aan Co Tam was ik aangenaam verrast door de combinatie van authentieke smaken, snelle service en gastvrijheid. Ik koos voor de Bun bo hue en deze stelde absoluut niet teleur. De bouillon was rijk, kruidig en perfect in balans, met duidelijke tonen van citroengras en een subtiele pittigheid die het gerecht karakter gaf. De rijstnoedels waren precies goed gegaard en het vlees was heerlijk mals, royaal in portie en smaakvol gekruid. Wat het helemaal afmaakte waren de verse kruiden, taugé en limoen, waarmee je het gerecht naar eigen smaak kon verfijnen. Als drankje koos ik de huisgemaakte jasmijnijsthee, een verfrissende en licht gezoete thee. Wat echt opviel was hoe snel het eten werd geserveerd, zonder dat dit ten koste ging van de kwaliteit. Bovendien was het personeel ontzettend vriendelijk en attent, wat de hele ervaring nog aangenamer maakte. Co Tam voelt als een plek waar je welkom bent, of je nu snel iets wilt eten of uitgebreid wilt genieten van de Vietnamese keuken. Een absolute aanrader voor wie op zoek is naar eerlijke, smaakvolle gerechten en oprechte gastvrijheid.
