We stopped for lunch at the Schlossberg restaurant's Biergarten. We got a table right on the edge of the castle, with a stunning view over the Mur River and the old town. On a sunny day, the leafy terrace trees provided pleasant shade. The place operates on a self-service basis, which worked well. We had two different sausage dishes, both of which were delicious. To go with it, we enjoyed some excellent local beer. The prices are somewhat higher than in a typical biergarten, but considering the location, we found it reasonable. The staff were friendly, and the terrace had a pleasantly calm atmosphere. We’d be happy to come again.

Siamo stati a questo Biergarten una domenica d'agosto in tarda mattinata, prima che diventasse affollato. Self service. C'era una formula per cui torta+caffè costava quasi come la torta da sola, in totale per due fette di torta (abbondanti e buonissime) e un caffè (con grosso bicchiere d'acqua fresca offerto) abbiamo speso 11,90 euro, sedendo con una vista stupenda sulla città. Consigliato. 🍰☕

Sehr gutes Essen, liebevoll und detailreich angerichtet. Regionale und saisonale Speisen erhältlich in sehr guter Qualität. Große Vielfalt an Speisen verfügbar. Außergewöhnlich freundlicher Kellner mit liebe zum Beruf, authentischer Freundlichkeit, Humor und fundiertem Wissen bzgl. Wein etc. - heutzutage sehr viel wert. Wunderschönes und romantisches Ambiente, Tisch würde sehr schön hergerichtet und dekoriert. Absolute Weiterempfehlung!
