It is the typical cafe, nothing to set it apart or make it stand out. Great for some coffee and other drinks with friends and fika snacks! Lacking variety for non flour based baked goods. It's not a place for anyone fighting inflammation or sugar addiction. There is nothing on offer except coffee for any medical conditions that dictate food choices and drinks. For the undiagnosed, it is a good place to go!

Unacceptable Behavior from Staff at Espresso House Nordstan/Femman As a long-time loyal customer of Espresso House, I’ve always appreciated the calm, welcoming atmosphere in most branches. Unfortunately, my recent experience at the Nordstan/Femman location (Postgatan 28 2F, övre plan) in Göteborg left me feeling disrespected, humiliated, and deeply disappointed. My husband and I had just bought our coffee and were sitting quietly, enjoying a moment together, when a staff member named Isabelle suddenly approached us. Without any greeting or explanation, she abruptly told us we had to move because “this section is closing.” There were no signs, no prior announcements—nothing to indicate that we weren’t allowed to sit there. When my husband calmly pointed out that no notice was visible, her response was shockingly aggressive. She immediately escalated and threatened, “If you don’t move, I will ask security to remove you.” I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. We weren’t loud, disruptive, or doing anything wrong—we were just sitting at a table with our drinks. Yet we were treated like we were causing a problem. Isabelle’s tone was cold and dismissive, completely lacking basic courtesy. Her behavior felt not only rude but intentionally hostile. I left feeling deeply insulted and unwelcome. It was an upsetting and honestly intimidating experience. As someone who has supported Espresso House for years and often recommended it to others, I’m writing this with real sadness. Staff members like Isabelle, who show such disregard for customer respect, seriously damage the trust and goodwill that loyal guests have built with the brand. I truly hope this incident is taken seriously. No customer should ever be treated this way. What happened to us at Nordstan/Femman should never be repeated.
