Parkområde som sträcker sig från Humanisten (Göteborgs Universitet) ner till Näckrosdammen. Inte att förväxlas med Renströmska Trädgården som ibland kallas parken istället för trädgården. Stora gräsytor för allehanda aktiviteter/event eller bara för en stunds picknick i gröngräset. (Kanske inte nu men när byggprojektet är färdigt) Här ligger även Näckrosdammen med lummig växtlighet i form av stora Rhododendronbuskar eller snarare träd, den gamla lekplatsen fick ge vika för en ny vatteninspirerad lekplats (Regnlekplatsen) platsen runt dammen har idag ljus och rymd. Väl värt ett besök.
