Music gets cranked up at 9pm so forget having a conversation after that.

I'm generally not a fan of Weatherspoons but I like this one and go there about once every two or three weeks. It's a smaller venue and has more relaxed ambience. It's certainly not as noisy as other Weatherspoon pubs. The food is basic, you get what you pay for, drinks are well priced and good value. Service is always quick and friendly . As with a lot of this chain it's a long walk down a steep flight of stairs to the toilets.

Bit of a boring box if I’m honest, lacking in atmosphere, staff were friendly and worked hard, the best feature of this particular Wetherspoons is the toilets, no long trek !
