Wonderful, tastefully decorated, cosy little pub with incredible food. We went twice. First was on curry night, when there was also a quiz (we were the twats in the corner 😉)there was a lot of friendly banter. Then we went back for Sunday lunch. All eight of us had a great time on both occasions. On curry night, and Sunday lunch you could also order off their usual menu. Not one single complaint from anyone. Our waitress was awesome. Very professional considering we had a bunch of army loons in our party. She took all the jokes in good humour and did not put a foot wrong. Sunday lunch was fabulous, choice of three meats or all if you want, huge yorkies, roast beetroot, cauliflower cheese, potatoes, veggies etc, they do not skimp on the portions. Utterly delicious. One of our group opted for a pie for lunch which he enjoyed. How six of our group managed to fit in desert I'll never know. All in all well worth a visit, and no doubt we'll be back (if they'll let us back in 😂)

Not a great experience , had to ask for a menu when we came in as we hadn’t been acknowledged then my daughters bangers and mash came out with no gravy and food was cold by the time she got the gravy she also said the mash wasn’t great, looked like horrible frozen mash. Pastry on the steak pie is like eating fresh air there is nothing to it! Didn’t get broccoli with my steak pie either just one carrot. Didn’t get asked if food was ok in between the meal or asked if we needed more drinks then waited a bit long for the kids desserts! Was just very disappointed as had looked forward to coming, guy who served us was nice but that’s the best bit about it. Felt like we weren’t bothered about the whole time we were there felt more like an inconvenience tbh
