Des croissants absolument exceptionnels : faits sur place, immenses, probablement les meilleurs de Genève. J’ai également goûté une pâtisserie à la cannelle, tout aussi incroyable. Bref, côté saveurs, c’est un sans-faute : la qualité est au rendez-vous. En revanche, l’expérience côté paiement a laissé un goût amer. Pour une commande à emporter, le terminal de carte demande de sélectionner un pourboire de 10 %, 15 % ou 20 %… même sans service à table ! Résultat : un café et deux croissants déjà chers (12 CHF) passent facilement à 14 CHF. À Genève, les serveurs et serveuses devraient être payés correctement (24–25 CHF/h, le minimum légal étant 21 CHF), pas 2 ou 3 USD comme aux États-Unis. Ce système donne l’impression d’importer une culture du pourboire toxique « à l’américaine », où ce sont les clients qui financent les salaires, et ce n’est vraiment pas apprécié. Malgré la qualité exceptionnelle des croissants, cette pratique me freine à revenir. Je préfère mon café de quartier qui propose une formule petit-déjeuner avec café, jus d’orange frais et croissant pour 9 CHF, sans pourboire imposé. Dommage, ce lieu aurait pu devenir mon nouveau rendez-vous matinal. L’atmosphère sera probablement très agréable une fois les travaux terminés, ce qui rend cette politique de pourboire encore plus regrettable.

Dès l’entrée, on ressent une énergie apaisante et une attention sincère portée à la présence. Mention spéciale au serveur — un homme à la posture alignée, calme, respectueuse, presque méditative. Cela se ressent dans chaque geste : un service sobre, discret, juste. Ici, on ne fait pas que consommer : **on se dépose, on respire, on se recentre**.
