L’ambiance dépends entièrement de qui on y croise et dans nos métiers ferroviaires c’est une loterie. Mais le personnel quand à lui est super aimable et nous prépare souvent hors des heures « normales » de repas des assiettes de pur bonheur. Il me semble que les menus sont imposés au niveau national mais les chefs en cuisine se donnent du mal pour y apporter leur touche personnelle. Le même menu à SV oase Zürich servi à la louche sera à des années lumières de ce qu’on déguste à Genève. Je me rappelle avoir mangé à midi et le soir la chasse (émincé de sanglier) puis une autre fois le civet de chevreuil, avec mini chou de Bruxelles et spätzli. Meilleur morceaux et présentation digne d’un gastro. Bien sûr quand il y a du monde le soins est le même mais peut-être un peu moins de détails parce qu’il faut tout de même remplir les assiettes et les cheminots n’ont pas des pauses extensibles (les trains attendent). Une belle adresse qu’il faut pérenniser en y allant puisque le nombre de restaurants d’entreprise hors service centraux (Renens, Wankdorf etc) a grandement diminué.

Très variable mais, concernant le plat du jour, je trouve que la qualité a baissé par rapport à il y a 2 ans. Je sais qu'on ne peut pas faire de miracles sur une assiette à CHF 9.90 mais c'était plus savoureux, plus recherché, avant. Par contre, le plat Hit à CHF 14.90 est généralement toujours excellent et le buffet de salades est pas mal.
