Vielleicht hatten wir nur einen schlechten Tag erwischt, aber das Essen war durchwachsen und für die gebotene Qualität viel zu teuer. Der Service war freundlich, schien aber ein bisschen überfordert. Alles in allem bekommt man für das Geld anderswo viel mehr.

Eines meiner Lieblingsrestaurants in Frankfurt mit Fokus auf italienischer Küche, aber eben kein 0815-Italiener mit immer den gleichen Gerichten auf der Karte, sondern eine feine Auswahl mit regelmäßigen Anpassungen. Dabei auch kein riesiger Spesentempel, bei dem möglichst viele Essen pro Abend durchgedrückt werden, sondern eine überschaubare Anzahl an Plätzen. Das Essen hat noch nie enttäuscht: ob Fisch, Fleisch oder Pasta: alle Zutaten haben hohe Qualität, werden hervorragend gekocht und angerichtet. Auch nach mehreren Besuchen haben wir noch nie das selbe Gericht mehrfach bestellt. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Man merkt, dass ein Gespräch zwischen Kellner und Gast auch zum Konzept gehört. Gute und passende Weinempfehlungen. Durch die zentrale Lage an der Bockenheimer Landstraße sehr gut zu erreichen, aber im Außenbereich dann nicht ganz so abgeschieden.
