Gestern einen wunderschönen Abend mit meinen Mädels im Lagata verbracht. Die Bedienung, eine ältere Dame, hat sich sehr einfühlsam mit uns 3en unterhalten. Wit hatten einen wundervollen Abend mit respektvoller und sehr angenehmer Atmosphäre, im traditionsbewussten, einzigartigen LaGata. Leider war die Besitzerin gestern nicht da. Ich hätte sie gerne gesehen. Ein Menschen mit soviel Herz und Charakterstärke kann man lange suchen. Das LaGata ist für jeden Menschen, der Nostalgie liebt, Auge fürs Detail hat und ein Herz zum Mitfühlen, die wundervollste Lesbenbar die man sich vorstellen kann.

This place is the most perfect, warm, wonderful dive bar in the whole wide world. And above all else, it was an incredibly sweet and welcoming experience to visit the world's oldest lesbian bar. I have visited lesbian bars in other cities where the vibe feels closed off. Not exactly open to outsiders, younger lesbians, and foreigners. But there was none of that here. The bar was not busy when I went, but had a good mix of younger and older women. Who were all so kind and lovely. Sylvie is an absolute blessing of a woman who tolerated my broken german for many hours, shared her stories of working in the bar, and introduced me to some new beverages I had never tried before. I hope this place lives longer than I do, so I can return again and again. Also.... crazy cheap for frankfurt. Got absolutely smashed for less than 25 euro. Plus free snacks, free jukebox, and indoor smoking.
