Puedes ver lo que era una casa romana

Es un lugar muy interesante que permite conocer acerca de la evolución urbana de un barrio de la ciudad desde la época de los romanos hasta los visigodos. El contraste con la época actual resulta dramático pues justo encima se sitúa un edificio gubernamental con varias consejerías de la Junta de Extremadura (en las fotos se pueden apreciar perfectamente los pilares del edificio moderno). Se podría mejorar un poco el tema de los carteles con explicaciones más detalladas que ayudaran al neófito a entender lo que está visitando, pero en resumen un buen lugar para completar la visita a Mérida.
