Interesante puente, la parte de abajo si que parece fábrica romana, muy interesante. La pena que no se puede bajar a verlo.

Puente Romano del Río Albarregas je nádherný římský most v Méridě, postavený už na konci 1. století př. n. l. za vlády císaře Augusta. Most je součástí slavné Vía de la Plata – starověké římské silnice, která spojovala Emeritu Augusta (dnešní Méridu) s Asturicou Augusta (dnešní Astorga) na severu Španělska. Tato trasa byla důležitá pro obchod, přesun vojsk i kulturní výměnu. Most je postavený z masivních žulových kvádrů, má čtyři půlkruhové oblouky, měří asi 145 metrů na délku a téměř 8 metrů na šířku – dřív po něm mohly jezdit dva vozy vedle sebe. Dnes slouží jen pro pěší a je to ideální místo na klidnou procházku nebo focení. Kousek odtud je taky krásný akvadukt Los Milagros, takže se vyplatí spojit návštěvu obou míst.
