The food was nice, I had the 5 bean chilli. Missed a wow factor and a side-salad would have been nice (or choice of small side) but the kitchen did very well cooking and serving so many meals for the same time. The beers were excellent and the atmosphere was very pleasant. I would eat and drink here again.

Another stroll and adventure walking areas of Exeter we have never been. This time we walked south along the river Exe from Waitrose and Magdalen road. Super walk through quiet paths and parks and we ended up by default….at The Tally ho. Never been to this pub but we always see the sign from the main Exeter to Topsham road. Great pub…. friendly bar staff…good selection of beer and ….. the best cheesy chips with bacon I have ever tasted and such good value at £6.50 ‼️😃 . Initially we couldn’t understand why everyone was wearing black 🤔…but then realised it is next to the crematorium 😳
