Best cocktail bar in Exeter by a mile! Warm welcome on arrival! Great choice of cocktails with live music and a different vibe from most other places in the city. Matt was amazing, very knowledgeable about the cocktails and spirits with great service (table service was very welcome). With a cute outside seating area to enjoy the sun. Will 100% be back to try the rest of the menu and for the great service.

I discovered this bar summer 2024. The manager at the time (forget his name) was very pleasant, friendly. I was here most Fridays, and every weekend. However this year 2025, the place isn't the same. The lighting has been dimmed even more to the point where its too dark to even read a drinks menu. There's now a stuffed boars head on the wall (gross) and they've moved the seating around... note to bar, the leather couches were in better place before in the corner, and the tables moved closer to the bar now guess congestion there, especially when busy. Sometimes at 5pm walking in the music is extra loud and not welcoming at all. Also please fix the ladies toilet entrance door, it stays open.

This has to be the best bar in Exeter. The Rum and maple Old Fashioned was the best Ive ever had. Cheeseboard was delicious. The music was fantastic. We only wish we could have stayed longer.
