I'm kind of trolling the Starbucks closures atm...really surprised this one closed, it was the nicest I've been to in DC. Maybe the rent was crazy high? Or maybe instead of the closures being part of a successful turnaround, they are just crashing and burning.

Very sad to see this place got closed down, I’ve been coming here for a year and a half now just because of how lovely the service has been here. If it was for studying or just getting water after my runs, it was always nice to be greeted by smiling faces. I came here so much to the point the baristas remembered my name and order. Thank you guys for always going above and beyond! (Special shoutout to Shawn, David and Dre)

Tremendously sad to hear the news that this location is shutting down... I come to this Starbucks multiple times a week, and the workers & people in this location make it feel like family. I travel a lot for work and there was NO other Starbucks in the country that felt like this one... Lemlem, Yussra, Colton, Collin, Reggie, Shawn and so many others made this place incredibly special. Starbucks shouldn't be shutting down this location, they should keep it open so that other locations can replicate what this one does so well... it's a model for other locations to aspire to be.
