This restaurant is an institution in San Francisco. It has be3n around for 46 years and is still going strong. Dick Sander and Patricia Unterman have done an amazing job with this restaurant. Hayes Street Grill is certified by the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch. Our produce comes directly from local farms. This is our go-to restaurant for the Opera, Ballet or Symphony. Reservations are a must.

I have loved this place since we moved to Hayes Valley in 2001. Excellent in all categories. An ocean-to-table seafood grill that Alice Waters loves. A FRESH Pacific seafood grill. Excellent homemade tartar sauce, great frites, big martinis.
