I had an amazing experience training at Bangtao Muay Thai & MMA. The facilities are top-notch, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the energy is always high. Big shoutout to Coach Woot – his sessions were intense, motivating, and full of technical details. He really takes the time to help you improve, no matter your level. Highly recommend this gym to anyone visiting Phuket!

I’m having an absolutely amazing, wonderful experience here at Bangtao Muay Thai. This place is something special. From top to bottom, the facility is exceptional—every inch of it is detailed, thoughtful, and clearly built with purpose and care. But what truly sets Bangtao apart is the people. Hickman bros and company do an incredible job leading this gym. They are here early and stay late and care about everyone who comes in. The coaches and staff are nothing short of incredible. Whether it’s the ringside café crew, the front office team, or the world-class trainers—everyone here works their tails off and does it with heart. The café staff are absolute soldiers, keeping things running with hustle and grace. And the coaches? Just phenomenal. They’re not only elite in their craft, but also fantastic teachers who care deeply about helping every athlete grow, regardless of experience level. I’ve learned so much already, and I can’t get enough of the energy, the instruction, and the atmosphere. I’m making this a yearly ritual for as long as I can. If you’re thinking about coming—do it. This place is the real deal
