walked in to order food to takeaway. server was friendly, food was quick and well packaged. ordered stir fried beef pho and it was amazing. will definitely return to sit in next time i’m in manchester

Had the chicken pho and, honestly, it was the best pho I've ever had~ super yummy, well seasoned, tender chicken. Waiter was extremely friendly, and humoured our queries with Vietnamese trivia as well.

We had a Saturday lunchtime meal at Viet Soul in Manchester’s Northern Quarter. The surroundings are very nice without feeling opulent. The service was good and during our visit we were looked after by a very attentive and friendly young Vietnamese gentleman. The highlight however was the food. Having spent two weeks in Vietnam earlier this year, we have fallen in love with the food, ingredients and flavours that we discovered in South East Asia’s gem. Our food was fantastic. Whilst being different from the majority of what we had during our holiday, the food still maintained the depth of flavour and variety that we found and craved. We shared some awesome Summer rolls to start and then I had the stir fried Pho, which was exceptionally good and my wife’s dish was almost on a par with it. Many of the customers appeared to be Vietnamese which i assume points towards the food’s quality and authenticity. I would have no hesitation in recommending Viet Soul to anyone - whether they are specifically looking for a Vietnamese meal or just looking for a tasty culinary adventure.
