Spent about 2 hours here today, served 4 pints, no one there the first half hour as came in at opening time, thought I'd visit a bar on way home, played maybe 10 tunes on the jukebox as I had app, good 80s stuf erasure whitney maddona lady gaga Kylie, nothing shite, i repeated one when bar was empty/just opened ,later on there was customer/s playing there own stuff just the odd one inbetween, no que, thats all. I was about to go for train and a bartender comes out, are you the one playing music as customers are complaining about my music choices I was playing too much also that i kept repeating which was untrue. If no one selects music on these jb play boring random 60s stuff. maybe im being ott and generally the bar was OK but I did find it rude being spoke to like this as a customer by bartender esp as they was there the whole time.

This hotel is the best hotel I’ve stayed in i always book it a few times in a year coz they are local staff Adele the owner is lovely too and very helpful I would give this hotel 5***** and would highly recommend this hotel it’s great atmosphere great people and over all great value for money the rooms are lovely clean spotless

The New Union is always a good time. Great music, fun crowd, and the perfect place to kick off (or end) a night out. Highly recommend for nightlife lovers.
