All good but limited time to eat... 2hr max then they make you leave

The room is beautiful and the piano was brilliant. Sat at the bar. The drinks were good and the bar staff were exceptional -- that made our night. Unfortunately, this place does not live up to the hype on the food front. Burger was pretty bland; the bun was dry and untoasted. The schnitzel was fine but nothing to write home about; the sauce was thin and underwhelming. The caesar salad was small; poorly dressed; and not very flavourful. Rice pudding creme brulee is interesting but soft on the top and mealy in the middle.

Host and wait team were absolutely incredible! Despite us arriving late due to bad traffic, the host couldn’t have been more accommodating - he offered us a choice of two tables straight away, and when an even better table became available, he kindly upgraded us without us even asking. Our female waitress was also an absolute star - so lovely, attentive, and charismatic. When I accidentally spilt a little of my martini while making space for food, she reappeared moments later with a mini martini glass to top it up - such a thoughtful touch! She also made great recommendations from the menu and even took our photo at the end of our dinner. It was a 10/10 birthday dinner, with customer service you rarely find in London restaurants. Truly above and beyond! The ambiance in the restaurant is also stunning - dim lighting, great artwork and a live piano performance in the background.
