The food here is really, really good. One of my favourite pop ups at 13 cantons. Each dish was full of flavour - particularly loved the skewer mushrooms and pineapple curry. Vegan tofu knots were lacking in flavour unfortunately but everything else tasted great. Would have loved some more veggie options too.

Had been wanting to try here for ages, as love Cambodian food, but was unfortunately a disappointing experience. The food didn't resemble anything I have eaten in Cambodia, but there were some similar flavours. I think the menu might have gone a bit too far down the fusion route and too generic. Most dishes were nice (aside from an overly salty fried rice), but nothing was special. Drinks were overpriced. Service was friendly, but inattentive. The venue was ok, but it was a bit like sitting in a corridor. Also, it was far too hot and the aircon was broken. I really wanted to like this place and was hoping it would serve some of my favourite dishes, but sadly no.

Situated next to a pub, you can almost miss Mamapen but don't. It's a great fusion restaurant with strong flavors, but delicious food that represent khmer/cambodian spices made to appeal to the more general palate. Being cambodian, it did well in bringing back memories of food my mom would prepare for me. Try the minced Tatti Noodles(khmer spaghetti), the fried rice, and khmer chicken. You won't regret it!
