I honestly don’t think I’ve ever been wowed by a restaurant as much as this one during my time living in London – it’s become my new favourite Japanese spot and I’ll be recommending it to all my friends. The food is just outstanding. You can tell it’s cooked with real care and attention, and every dish tastes amazing. Presentation is lovely too – everything comes out neatly on trays, with little side dishes for the cucumber, miso soup and extras. I had the katsu-don and the chicken was perfectly crispy, served with fluffy white rice and warming miso soup. My partner went for the chicken udon noodles, and we also shared chicken gyoza – everything was spot on. Service was excellent as well. The staff were welcoming, patient and explained the menu clearly. They’ve even got little call buttons on the tables to order or pay, which is a nice touch, and they happily brought tap water without fuss. The restaurant itself is decorated beautifully in a traditional Japanese style – lanterns, fabric dividers (noren), and striking artwork all around. Even the toilets were clean and well looked after. From the outside it’s a small, narrow place, which makes it feel like a real hidden gem. If you’re looking for authentic Japanese food in London, definitely book a table here. You won’t be disappointed 🙏🏼

Delicious, halal authentic Japanese food. The seared salmon and cheese sushi rolls were flavourful and well-presented. The katsu chicken curry was perfect. The staff were incredibly kind, polite and attentive. The decor is modern, neutral and airy. Will definitely return and recommend to friends and family.
