Service was outstanding. The food was delicious, good portion sizes and reasonably priced. Cocktails worth it too! Small intimate setting. Recommend making reservations.

I had an incredible meal at Cawnpore near Paddington Station and it’s safe to say this is one of the best Indian meals I’ve had in London. From the moment I sat down, I knew I was in for something special. The restaurant itself is comfortable and inviting, creating the perfect setting to enjoy a hearty meal. The butter chicken was absolutely outstanding — rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. The lamb shank was another highlight: tender, perfectly cooked, and full of deep, aromatic spices that made every bite a delight. The side of onion and the flaky parantha were just as impressive, complementing the main dishes beautifully. The combination of textures and flavors worked perfectly together, and everything felt freshly prepared. Presentation was excellent, and the meal was as visually appealing as it was delicious — you can see from the photos how tempting everything looked.
