I bought sliced cakes few times and ordered a whole cake last year, they’re all nice. I would give them 5 ⭐️ for those. Also the owner was nice, he gave a slice of cake for free. But, Today i bought Eid cake box, it’s far far away from my expectations. The cake is dry & too sweet, it tastes very similar with the cake from lidl/supermarket (probably it is). It’s like they cut and redecorate it, which is can be done by an amateur. I can’t even finish 1 slice. It makes me sick now. The lady works there didn’t know anything, when i asked what kind of cake is that, she said eee sponge (unclear)…. is this freshly baked? She said yyes but still unsure. She didn’t even know how much the price was. £8 for that, tbh it is too much. Please bake your own cake if it’s a cake shop.

We have been using Cake Zone in Norbury for many years and have always been extremely impressed by the standard of their cakes and the very friendly and efficient service we have received. Whenever we serve their cakes to friends and family everyone always comments how amazingly light the sponge is and how delicious they taste. If you haven’t ever tried an eggless cake I highly recommend that you do as you won’t go back!
