The staff behind the counter was very sweet, and he made an amazing ube special bun. However, I didn’t enjoy my short wait in the store due to the heat, and I can only imagine how uncomfortable it must be for staff working behind the counter in this weather. I strongly recommend getting some sort of an air conditioning unit rather than relying on a fan that just stirs the hot air in the kitchen – your team truly deserves it.

The spinach pastry was meh, just like a stale piece of bread with a stale cheese. I couldn’t eat it, unfortunately. And that’s after I asked the waitress whether it’s was crispy. Not worth £4.45 for sure. I haven’t tried the sweet buns, but I think if you specialise on desserts, just keep it dessert only as my experience looking for a nice savoury bun resulted in disappointment.
