A friend was visiting from Buenos Aires and we wanted to wallow in nostalgia and find the best 'asado' in town….we lucked out! The warmth and friendliness transported us back to the streets of our adopted, beloved city. The team were super kind and our waiter made us feel ‘en casa´. The food, well I can honestly say, hand on heart that the charming chef, Juan Pablo, cooked one of the best steaks I had ever had, better than even the top restaurants in Buenos Aires 😊 We choose the Rib eye, it was exquisite, accompanied by the molleja ( amazing!) provoleta and Dulce de leche Pancakes, washed down with a lovely bottle of Malbec! Great little neighbourhood too in Broadway Market, I had never bee, its cute. So…. Váyanse ya!! Go! ….quick, as Juan Pablo leaves 24th August , though I’m sure they have a new chef in the wings and excuse for me to return. Que disfruten!!

Buen Ayre is a game-changer! My girlfriend and I stumbled upon it thanks to Reddit, and wow, are we glad we did! We had the parrilladas – perfect for sharing and trying all kinds of delicious meats. The provolone was a great addition, but we could've skipped the mushroom stuffed pesto. The wine was amazing – especially paired with the chimichurri and steaks. But the real star? The fillet. Melt-in-your-mouth perfection, seasoned just right. We'll definitely be back for more!
