Somehow I managed to throw my phone into the canal space between the walkway and The Milk Float yesterday (please don’t even ask… we were on a hen do and that probably explains enough), and Alfe the owner, was called and he took it upon himself to jump into the canal and search through the silt to retrieve and rescue it for me. I honestly can’t explain how grateful I am to him and the staff for this - above and beyond in terms of customer service. P.S the frozen margs are a must

Lovely place. Lovely cocktails. Not so great service. Waited quite a while after ordering to be told they couldn't make the drinks we ordered, then waited quite a while again for our alternative choices. Not the end of the world as everything else was great.

Milk Float is a nice spot when the weather is on your side. It’s set on a little boat in Hackney Wick with a cute terrace, which makes the experience feel a bit special. We had some smash cheeseburgers and chips—not the best in the world, but still tasty. The vibe is super chill, with a nice view of the canal and a relaxed atmosphere. Perfect for a casual bite or a drink in the sun if you are lucky with the weather. If you’re in the area and looking for something a bit different, it’s worth checking out!
