Such a warm welcome and experienced volunteers made this a great experience. A small museum in the ornate surroundings of the restored Fairfield building, it covered the full range of the Clyde ship building experience. Very knowledgeable guides on hand for the personal insights without being intrusive. Well worth a visit.

This place is a remarkable archive and exhibit of the story of the Fairfield shipyard and the wonderful building which was the offices. The introductory talk is very helpful and each of the restored rooms with video and pictorial representation helps you understand how shipbuilding has changed and evolved up to today. This is well worth a visit
