Also, let’s talk about the view: not the castle, not Arthur’s Seat, not even the Royal Mile… I mean the cute guys behind the counter casually building carb monuments like Michelangelo with mozzarella. Watching them stack my focaccia was a spiritual experience. Edinburgh might be full of history and culture, but forget all that — this is the best sandwich in town. Best Sandwich in Scotland !!! We come here most weekends and it just gets better. The Mootz original , toasted with hot honey is 11/10. Staff are great too Would highly recommend

The absolute best sandwich I’ve had outside of Italy. The meat was perfect and the vegetables were fresh. They really deserve the credit people give them.
