We had the pleasure of dining at Mehek for the second time, and once again, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we walked in, the owner was incredibly welcoming and attentive, paying close attention to even the smallest details from making sure the water wasn’t too cold to adjusting the spice levels of the dishes to suit our preferences. We started with the non-veg platter, and the staff were kind enough to replace the duck with chicken on our request. The Chicken Tikka was juicy, succulent, and perfectly complemented by the pineapple chutney. The Lamb Kebab was melt-in-the-mouth tender and paired beautifully with mint and dahi chutney. The Pakora was wonderfully crisp with a tangy imli chutney, while the Kesari Prawns stood out for their tenderness and bold flavor, enhanced by the lassoni sauce. For the mains, we had the Amritsari Bhuna Chicken, which was an absolute flavor bomb rich, aromatic, and deeply satisfying. To go with it, I ordered a stuffed cheese and chili naan and my partner chose the laccha paratha. Both breads were outstanding in fact, the best we’ve had in Dublin so far. Overall, Mehek continues to impress us not only with its food but also with its thoughtful service and attention to detail. It’s quickly becoming one of our favorite restaurants in Dublin, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit.
