This is the place to go for a nice and affordable steak dinner! We were craving some good Irish meat and this was our choice to try it. We ordered one Featherblade steak and one sirloin steak. The first one was more tender and overall better than the second one. The meat was very tender in the Featherblade steak, the one I ordered. However, I asked for rare and I got a medium/medium-rare steak. For a restaurant specialised in steaks this is a severe mistake and the big reason to have 4 stars (which should be more like 3,5). Additionally, the steaks come with a sort of a layer crust on top tasting like pepper. Personally, it was not a good addition, since it overshadows the meat flavour itself, but you might enjoy it. On the other hand, the sides were amazing! The sweet potatoes were divinal and the creamed spinach combined perfectly with the meat! Finally, the sticky pudding was a top choice to finish off our meal! The combination of sweet flavours was delicious! The service was excellent! The waiter even helped me looking for my girlfriend’s earring after it fell below the sofa. The atmosphere was calm and romantic.

When we walked in I looked at the menu and thought "this is pretty daring - if youre going to have 3 mains youd need to really be confident and back it up"...the food was absolutely amazing...i got the ribeye and the flavour was bursting...the chips and sides also amazing, i tried my wifes Striploin and she said the pupils in my eyes went dilated like i was in a cartoon. 11/10 amazing experience amazing food will be back. Staff so friendly too and toilets spotless.

I had high expectations based on all the glowing reviews, but the experience didn’t live up to them. The steak was tough and lacked flavour, the peppercorn sauce was mediocre, the side salad was completely unseasoned, and the roasted broccoli came with a sour sauce that didn’t work. Even the sticky toffee pudding, which I hoped would be a highlight, fell flat. Overall, a very underwhelming meal — definitely not worth the hype or money.
