It had been nearly a decade since my last visit to Paragon, yet I still vividly remembered dining upstairs back then. So, when my friend recently proposed revisiting this iconic spot, I eagerly agreed. Walking in, I was amazed at how much the restaurant had expanded! Despite the bustling crowd, the staff efficiently guided us upstairs. Though we had to wait briefly in a lively corridor between dining sections, they promptly took our order, starting with their signature fresh milk tea, as I requested. Our wait was short, and the moment we were seated, steaming cups of brewed tea arrived. As we reminisced over the creamy, comforting drink, our dishes began appearing in perfect timing. The Motta rice was fragrant and buttery and the squid dry-fry had this nice tender texture and bold, spicy kick. The chickpeas (Kadala) curry offered warmth with its balanced spices, while the Hamour Pollichathu (my first try!) was a masterpiece - succulent fish infused with smoky coconut and wrapped in a banana leaf. Everything from the seamless service to the cozy ambiance -made this meal unforgettable. I'll say, Paragon hasn’t just retained its charm; it’s gotten even better. Already thinking of my next visit!

Not a single restaurant in Dubai comes close to Paragon when it comes to Malabari cuisine.. Tried their French mango toast for dessert today and it was nothing short of phenomenal! Big thanks to Praveen for the recommendation, and to Suresh for the warm and attentive service, as always.
