Our golf society makes the trip to Upton-by-Chester every year. The course is always in fantastic condition, with well-kept fairway and consistent greens. It’s a layout that’s enjoyable for all abilities — challenging enough to keep the low-handicappers thinking, yet fair and forgiving for the higher-handicappers. The staff and members are always welcoming, creating a friendly atmosphere both on and off the course. The clubhouse is a great spot to relax afterwards, with good food, drinks, and plenty of space to swap stories from the round. It’s become a firm favourite for our society, and each year we look forward to returning. A great course, great people, and a consistently great day out. Highly recommended.

Our society visited on Friday 6 th June Our visit started by having a lovely breakfast at 11.00 golf at 12.00. The course was immaculate considering the rain we have not had in April and May .It has really benefitted from the recent rain. The course is very well balanced for a fabulous society day out. All the staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommended by THE OLD ORIGINAL G.S.

what a course played it today, greens were in great condition. Club house was lovely, great staff. If you get the chance to play this course you will not be disappointed
