For two years, at least one day a week, I've cherished my time in this vibrant branch, using my laptop in a space that fuels my creativity. However, in the last six months, I've noticed that the Saturday afternoon crew is closing off half of the lounge an hour early or asking customers to relocate, often initiated by a young lady who seems to be part of the management team. Finding a cosy spot with a table and access to a plug is essential for me. I believe this approach may unintentionally overlook the loyalty of dedicated customers. Despite the charm of the location, its accessibility, and the great Starbucks offerings, I sense a lack of attentiveness to customers during these specific hours. It often feels like the message conveyed is, "Get out of here," wrapped in a smile, or you don't have the right to select your seat.

Just wanted to say well done to the girls who were there this afternoon at around 6:30, who were clearly working with a skeleton crew, doing the best the could to tidy up after a rush and get ready for close, while dealing with customers and still making great drinks. While I was waiting at the bar, an entitled customer came in and was quite rude to staff. Well done to the girl who was a brand new member of staff and bore the brunt of the rudeness. Clearly this bully picked her out. Handled with grace. My frapp was lovely, no complaints. You keep doing you, girls! Don’t let the bleep-bleeps grind you down! <3
