I first visited this beautiful temple in Grangetown on 22/06/25. I was fortunate to meet one of the Committee members Mr Kumar and he introduced my mum and I to the temple. It's beautiful. I'm mostly familiar with south Indian temples and I was struck by how most of the singing and chanting was done by the Sangha. It had a community led feeling to it. The Murtis are beautiful especially the main one which I understand in Swami Narayan in his child form. The men and women are separated by a partition to help minimise distractions to prayer and meditation. Later Mr Kumar from the committee told me about various projects they are undertaking; a Spiritual Living group and a Farm Project. Today I attended an excellent workshop on the power of Mantra that was excellent. And after this we were graced with a yoga class from Priesh Devji. The class was wonderful and concluded with a sound bath. Following this we were nourished by a sattvic vegetarian lunch. The whole program was by donation. I was the only non-Indian there today and on Sunday last week. Those who are interested in the deeper, spiritual dimensions of yoga have a world class resource here in the capital of Wales that can assist us on the path.
