Mama's is a typical English greasy spoon cafe. The decor is old and faded but that is typical of these cafes However the food is excellent, hot and plentiful. The cafe is run by the same friendly people as the Indian restaurant next door which is also excellent. We'll be back for more!

4.5 stars When a little place has old style b&w photos of that street on the walls, half a dozen numbered set breakfasts then they're usually not going to let you down. I had the special - which technically was set number 1. £8 pretty average price for, yup, pretty average breakfast. But it had a bit of everything which was a winner for me. I wish the bacon was a bit thicker but they've got it just right with the crispness level. I didn't love the sausages, a bit herby for me but at least they weren't super cheap smush ones. Always annoys me when tea and coffee isn't included in the sets. And for 2 quid a mug, the mugs need to be bigger. Nice guys, I'll definitely be back
