Lovely little restaurant down the lanes. We were able to get a last minute booking for breakfast and appreciative that they gave us a table when they were very busy. Delicious food (both had the Embers breakfast muffin) and coffee. Really friendly service!

Best breakfast I’ve ever had! I wish I got more pictures but I was enjoying the food too much. We got the steak and eggs [eggs not pictured] and chicken and waffles. The chicken was perfectly cooked. The chicken skin added a pleasant crunch. The jalapeño and honey dressing brought a lovely balance of creaminess and heat that tied the whole dish together beautifully. My partner’s steak was perfectly cooked, the tomato compote was a gorgeous accompaniment, and the shirred eggs that came with it were perfectly gooey. The freshly squeezed orange juice is naturally sweet and has a gorgeous colour, you can tell they use top quality ingredients in everything! I can’t wait to be back, we had a brilliant time.

Loved this...menu was varied and a little different from your standard brunch. Fantastic Svamptoast with huge chunks of bacon on the side, refills of filter coffee. Would definitely recommend.
