We randomly stopped by this cafe during a short stay in Belfast, and we’re so glad we did. One of the staff members noticed we were from Greece and kindly offered to make us a Freddo Espresso – the Greek-style iced espresso. Not only was the coffee excellent, but what really stood out was his warm and genuine hospitality.

A fun little cafe with excellent facilities including beautiful grounds to walk around. The Courtyard Cafe is a delightful little gem nestled in the heart of the town. This is a good coffee shop (and a great one by the standards of what you often find in public / municipal spaces) - coffee is good, sandwiches tasty, sit-in space interesting, and service welcoming. Discount also if you have leisure centre membership. Long may it continue.
